Meet 7ish. Ride 8 ish.
Find your bike Every Friday Night. We meet at Ladds circle, in the circle. If it is raining, head down to the covered area of Abernethy Elementary School. Ride slowly meets at 7 pm and departs roughly at 7:45/8ish pm. An honorary 3 minutes of Ladd laps (Ding Ding Ride/Ladd500) and then we send it. Sometimes we have guest ride leaders. Friday Night Rides are different every time. Sometimes we go to other rides happening around town during the summer. End of ride fires/good vibes/respect/no jerks/ We are a community. Respect each other! No aggressive, sexist, racist, or any other kind of BS will be tolerated. Violations against the code of conduct will be reported to shift2bikes. If you ride Sur-Ron/powerful electric bikes this is not the ride for you. You can come but you might be heckled. This is a bicycle ride. Bring lights/locks/responsible vibes/a cup/ Casual pace with some extra zip 10-20ish mile rides with store stops/park stops/art stops NOT NECESSARILY A NO DROP RIDE… ESPECIALLY IN THE FALL/WINTER/SPRING. Be careful of slippery roads/leafs on ground/pot holes. Call out road hazards to help bike friends stay safe. 1st Friday is bottle share night. (bottle of wine/crazy beer/kombucha/coconut water/fizzy waters/anything you like to drink/want to share) 2nd Fridays are MMR - later night vibes to make it to Midnight Mystery Ride. If you want to lead a ride just ask! REPEAT… NOT NECESSARILY A NO DROP RIDE… ESPECIALLY IN THE FALL/WINTER/SPRING. Guest ride leaders wanted and appreciated! Instagram @fridaynightride

Roll at 10:30am
Ride is a loop
Meet at the new Trek location in Slabtown (1560 NW 21st Ave near Raleigh) for coffee and donuts at 10am. Roll out at 10:30am on a medium-paced (12-14mph) group road ride, crossing the two bridges over the Columbia River and enjoying the bike paths on each side. We'll finish where we started for a total of about 40 miles. We will try to stay together and have several quick regroup stops to help make that happen. As your ride leader, I respectfully request you stay behind me and allow me to set the pace. If you go off the front, I will not be in a position to yell cues or chase you down. If your pace is much slower than 12mph, we'll wait for a bit but may be gone from the regroup stop when you arrive. For maximum success, download the route (it's free - link below). Be sure to turn on the "POI" (points of interest) layer so you can see where the regroups and bathroom stop are. Route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/46462217 Rules (which you agree to follow just by showing up!): 1) no complaining 2) do whatever you want 3) do not sue me or the bike shop feeding us donuts! Things to bring: 1) No lock is needed 2) Your flat repair kit, including a spare tube (even if you run tubeless) 3) Your snacks and drinks (we will not be stopping at any stores or cafes) Thanks to Trek Bicycle Portland Slabtown for hosting us!

11:00 PM
Hey Guys! This is the first ride I've posted on here. It is the "proof of concept" "beta test" of an idea I have for a Pedalpalooza ride. But before I invite too many people, I thought an early season run w less folks would be smart. It is essentially that I have some ok projectors and a speaker and I want to throw the video games up on buildings and places one might not expect. Everyone will get a chance to play and we may even get competitive if thats the vibe. I think we have a couple different versions of the game to mix it up a bit. We have 3 locations in mind but may add or change depending on what works best. We play after dark!

Ride is a loop
Ride around NE Portland with Kidical Mass! Put on your bunny ears and celebrate spring with a family-friendly bike ride and egg hunt. We’ll ride from the Irving Park playground to Grant Park on neighborhood greenways and quiet streets. The ride is a loop, with a break at the playground in the middle, so its suitable for most young bike riders who can pedal their own bike. Decorate your bikes and helmets with bunny ears and flowers, and bring a basket for easter eggs for the younger kids. We ride slow for little pedalers and parents on cargo bikes. Kids should wear a helmet, be able to ride in a straight line, start and stop. Cargo bikes, tandems, trailers and tag-a-longs are great for kids who haven’t learned to pedal. We’ll ride together as a group, rain or shine, because kids are traffic too! Route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/46279660

Ride is a loop
End location: Ride is always a loop
Our instagram is nakedHeartspdx so you can see how we ride. Weekly themed rides. Different ride leaders each week, but you can expect the ride to be social paced (8ish mph), no-drop, safe and welcoming, store stop with safe clean bathroom access and the ride is always a loop. We practice consent and non-violence specially with car interactions, what one ride does affects how all rides get treated. The Mellow Mondays are a space for (new) ride leaders to try out ideas in a very supported environment. You’ll often see Mondays rides appearing again during the warmer riding season. We follow the shift code of conduct and expect everyone to be respectful of themselves and others around them. This is so we can actually relax and have fun and connect with each other in a softer space. This isn’t a sober ride but we ask for moderation to keep the atmosphere relaxed. We recommend Abraham Fixes bikes in N Williams and NomadCycles (e-bike specialist) for repairs/sales and parts. Our friends over at RideSafePDX host regular ride and we’ recommend those as a pleasant warm group to ride with.

Bring your flute. Or clarinet, oboe, or any other woodwind or just come along to join and take great photos of our embrochures. We will be taking three stops and one of our goals will be to all play one note together in harmony (example a D natural). While another stop may allow for a more reverbous performance! Can you play your flute (or trumpet whathaveyou) while riding? That is to be determined during the obstacle course! Ride will be at medium speed, not at all fast, we will be inclusive and stick together. Please be open and willing to conversing with other flute enthusiasts. Centrally located, short mileageoof 5ish miles. Have an interesting woodwind or melodic technique? This is your ride!
