10:30am
The quest for produce:
Spring is here, so let's eat well.
Weather permitting, let's go get some veggies.
Bring a bag, probably a backpack, and some cash, and we'll ride down to the farmers' market and buy some nice fresh produce. Carrots seem appropriate. Bonnets and fluffy tails welcome.
We'll ride along the river, enjoying the view, then up to PSU.
We use bicycles as the best way to see the city.
We explore neighborhoods.
We have fun.
And we like a good lunch.
We really wander. We make u-turns. We stop and look at things. We detour, a lot. So lead us down some alley.

10:00amSo it's time to remember Jesus, not the first zombie, but the most famous zombie, I propose a ride in his honor. So pull out your togas and sandals and a little white face paint coupled with some blood and you are ready to ride.
It is not sacrilegious, but in remembrance.
We will meet at Sweet Pea (12th and Stark) at 10 a.m. for some brunch. The brunch costs $10 for all you can eat and then head off to ladd's addition to ride around in circles until we get sick!
Sound awesome? See you then.

12:00pmHowdy y'all,
I'm looking to move my life by bike next weekend. It's a bit of a long one: SE 37th and Holgate to NE 13th and Killingsworth. But ample pre- and post-ride beverages and food will be provided. Coffee and beer, huzzah!
So come all ye faithful with your trailers, cargo bikes, xtracycles and we'll get this done without burning any dinosaur bones. I'll do my best to scare up any lashing and tarps, but if you have any it couldn't hurt to bring 'em. The bed and dresser are the only tricky items... Anyone with a super trailer?

In early 2009 the Community Cycling Center recognized that, despite the cost savings and health benefits of bicycling, many people cannot or do not choose bicycles to get around — particularly among communities of color.

11:30amI'm moving by bike and would love your help!!
The ride will be a little over five miles, as I plan to go around Mt. Tabor instead of over it!
The only furniture will be two bookshelves, one half bookshelf, and a metal-framed futon bed that I will take apart for ease of moving. Other than that...about 90% of my belongings are books and clothes. The books will be in tiny boxes, I promise.
There will be some kind of baked goods + coffee at the starting point and something home-made and yummy (possibly spaghetti with marinara--I make a good one) at the end!

1:00pm - 2:30pm Like to garden? Like the collective Commons? This ride is for you! Imagine an eyesore empty lot transformed into a native flower, food, or hardy plant paradise.
On this ride we will take readymade seedballs (clay+soil+seeds) and throw them into inner SE/NE vacant spots zones. See a movie on making seedballs, here http://www.seedball.com/
No one left behind. Co-leaders will share the "why" and "how" of guerrilla gardening at the start of the ride. R
