Community Bike Exchange School, 4038 SE Brooklyn, Portland, OR 97202 Take Trimet
9:00am, 4-hour class plus break, ending at 1:30pm, April 5, June 7, August 2, October 4
This class will instruct bicyclists of all skill levels the complete suite of professional bicycle tune-up procedures while utilizing professional tools. Students may perform each procedure on their own bikes or use our bikes for practice during class.
Tuition:$40/student

Bikes For Humanity PDX(B4HPDX) is a charitable service project aimed at providing our community affordable refurbished bikes, repair classes & workshop space.
Volunteers meet M-W 2-9pm, Th-F 12pm-6pm, and Sat 10am-6pm, to refurbish donated bikes for recirculation within PDX community. Every 2 hours volunteered earns 1 hour free use of pro shop for your own project.
Financial aid and earn-a-bike programs available to help everyone afford a bike.

Zoobomb is long running weekly bike event that meets every Sunday around 8:30PM near (13th & SW Burnside) in Portland OR. Bring a bike, MAX fare (2.50), bike lights, and any safety gear you need. Borrow a 16" from our Library. We ride down hills.

8-week professionally instructed bicycle mechanics curriculum trains volunteers complete overhaul and tune-up procedures.
Free to all B4HPDX volunteers. (We invite students to volunteer 10 hours with us for receiving this 24-hr curriculum.)

RIDE TO THE NEVERENDING STORY Link FF

Hop on your Luck Cycle for a 4.5 mile bike ride from Piccolo Park to Dawson Park to see a free screening of The NeverEnding Story – a 1984 movie based on the classic fantasy novel by Michael Ende. This is part of the Portland Parks & Recreation Movies in the Park series, with the screening at the newly re-opened Dawson Park. This park has been undergoing a major overhaul for the past year. The bike ride from Piccolo to Dawson will feature the movie soundtrack, and we will ride through some of the new bicycle/pedestrian infrastructure that connects Clinton Street with the Willamette River.
